24 years with Kyrgyzstan: a story that continues

Every day more than 280,000 residents and guests of Kyrgyzstan shop in the stores run by Umai Group: Globus, Narodny, Dostor and SPAR.

The story of Umai Group began in 2002 with one store and one idea: to build a culture of modern retail. Twenty-four years later the company is the country's largest FMCG operator, with 170+ stores across Kyrgyzstan, more than 7,500 employees and millions of shoppers.

Modern retail cannot grow without strong domestic producers. That is why Umai Group keeps expanding its work with Kyrgyz companies: thousands of locally made products are on sale in its stores.

Every year Umai Group pays more than 2 billion som in taxes to the budget of Kyrgyzstan and is among the country's twenty largest taxpayers.

The company runs social, educational, charitable and environmental initiatives. A special place belongs to the #UmaiGroupForChildren programme, which supports children's sport and talented young people.
